They always say that the road to success is a bumpy one and as college students we definitely experience that first hand (tuition, difficult professors, late night studying etc.)
However, in Willie Jolley's A Setback Is a Setup for a Comeback he gives us plenty reason not to give up. Throughout the book he gives inspirational quotes from various prominent figures as well as anonymous authors. He also includes "Teaching Points" which are just motivational reminders to keep us pushing.
I believe that every college student should read this book or at least on similar to remind us that when the going gets tough keep pushing. If there's a lesson we don't understand, keep pushing. If our financial aid doesn't come through, keep pushing. If we accidentally miss class, keep pushing. Don't get hung up on your problems because every problem has a solution and as long as we use our setbacks as setups for comebacks there is no way we can not succeed.
All in all, next time you find yourself in a trying situation think of it as a bump in the road to the bright future you are aiming for.
